Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Rutland.
Natasha, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve been baking cakes from childhood with my grandmothers. I’ve always enjoyed baking. I’m also a registered nurse who specializes in oncology. One of the ways I would relieve my stress would be to get into the kitchen and start baking.
We had the good fortune of connecting with Natasha Rutland and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natasha, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Outside of utilizing my baking skills, I’m also a registered nurse at a hospital that specializes in eradicating cancer.It’s a 40+ hour job and I also have two small children that are now home more than usual due to the pandemic we’re learning to navigate through. Maintaining the interests of my children in STEM activities is also important to me and it has made for many long nights and early mornings.
